Riverside’s superb new facilities include two swimming pools and sensory splash zone, soft play, creche, ice rink, 190-station state of the art gym, spin and exercise studios and a Chelmsford city centre location. The brand new main pool is 25m, 10 lane with changeable depth and boom. The pools is fully accessible with a hoist and platform. There is also a 10m learner pool with sensory elements, a new splash zone and a flume. FT Leisure provided the water treatment and filtration systems, and water features and flume in partnership with Van Egdom.

FT Leisure provided new water treatment and filtration systems for the existing 25m 6 lane pool and combined learner pool. We also designed and installed a new acrylic Spa pool. Due to structural concerns with the existing pools, they remained full during the refurbishment. We therefore provided a temporary filtration system during the works to maintain the pool water.
