Opened in April 2022, St Sidwell’s Point is the UK’s first leisure centre built to the super energy efficient Passivhaus standard, meaning energy consumption is reduced by 70% when compared with industry best practice standards.
The first installation of FT Leisure’s FTMicron4 ceramic water treatment and filtration system which supports the 25m 8 lane Competition pool, Hydro pool with air and water massage features, confidence water for little ones, water and air features, and moveable floor. Due to ultra-filtration, the pools have exceptional water quality with minimal chemical content, which will greatly improve the experience for swimmers compared to a standard pool.
