Tameside Wellness Centre project secured

Over the past 12 months, we have been working with the design team and Willmott Dixon Construction on the new Tameside Wellness Centre. We are delighted to announce that the project is now on site and F T Leisure have been appointed to deliver the construction phase.

The project includes:

25m 8 lane competition pool

17m x 7m multi-activity pool

FT Leisure will be providing the water treatment and filtration systems for both pools. Traditional medium rate sand filtration with UV disinfection, chlorine and ph control. The systems will incorporate GRP balance tanks.

We are also adding functionality to the multi-activity pool with our moveable floor system, our disabled access platform and self-depositing steps for ambulant access into the pool. These systems give our client the opportunity to maximise use of this pool and reach a wider bather profile.

Finally, both of the pool tanks will be Myrtha pools stainless steel modular pools. As UK distributors for Myrtha, we will be installing these tanks, which are a great advantage on programme but also through life for the client.
