Creating safe,
fun and functional
swimming pools

We deliver innovative engineering solutions and services to the public swimming pool industry. This is what we do every day.

But why do we do it?

Every person that uses a public swimming facility, has different needs and expectations. Their motive may be relaxation, leisure, exercise, competitive sport, training, play or even therapy. All of these bathers however, have something in common; they all want to enjoy the experience.

By creating fun, safe and functional swimming environments, we believe we are helping people to enjoy swimming.

Design & Build

Our involvement in a new build project can start as early as feasability study or Stage 1 concepts. We integrate with the building design team and then see it through to completion as sub-contractor with the manufacture, installation and commissioning of the swimming pool systems.

We’ve delivered some of the most complex aquatic facilities, for blue chip construction companies. Our design and build delivery model is proven on over 220 successful projects.

Service & Maintenance

As with all mechanical and electrical plant, swimming pool equipment needs maintaining and it all has a lifespan. Operators are faced with the challenge of maintaining a safe swimming environment, by keep all plant fully operational at maximum efficiency, without disrupting the use of the pool.

FT Leisure can help operators to achieve this. We offer technical support, cyclical preventative maintenance programs and emergency response services to all existing pool facilities.

Fabrication Services

We manufacture an impressive range of plastic and metal components, both for new pool builds, for existing pools and for other swimming pool contractors in the industry.

Of course all our product designs are tried and tested, but it isn’t just a catalogue of standard equipment that we are offering. Our team of skilled fabrication engineers are able to adapt our component designs or create completely bespoke items, to meet your requirements.

Refurbish and Repair

As with all mechanical and electrical equipment, swimming pool plant has a life expectancy. At the end of the serviceable life, the equipment needs replacing or refurbishing and it’s important that disruption to pool operations is kept to a minimum.

FT Leisure actively pursues pool plant refurbishment works, whether it be replacing a valve or a full plant replacement. We process over 1500 small works orders a year and we have completed over 200 major plant refurbishments. As designers and manufacturers of filter shells, we also specialise in filter refurbishments.
